14 Jul - FHM Philippine's Sexiest Woman of the Year Jessy Mendiola has denied rumours saying that she is the third party in Ian Veneracion's marriage.
As reported on Coconuts Manila, rumours of the affair sparked recently, after an entertainment insider claimed that Veneracion and his wife Pam Gallardo are calling it quits because of Mendiola.
When asked about it at the FHM Philippines event in Mandaluyong City, a surprised Mendiola expressed, "What should I say to that?"
"Who wouldn't be surprised about it? You were surprised as well, right?" she asked reporters.
The actress, who has admitted that she is going out with Luis Manzano, stated that she will not be affected by it, and that she is already used to weird rumours about her.
Nonetheless, Mendiola expressed hope that the media will stop the rumours, as it may hurt Veneracion's family.

Stephen Ian Lopez Veneracion (Tagalog:[ˈʔiː.ɐnbɛ.nɛ.ɾɐˈʃon]; born February 7, 1975) is a Filipino actor and singer.
Career
[edit]His career started in 1982 as first appeared in RPN 9's show, Joey and Son. in 1986, Veneracion joined GMA Network's That's Entertainment, hosted by German Moreno. Throughout the 1990s, he starred in several action films. Veneracion's first drama appearance is Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin since 2001. He later transferred to ABS-CBN in 2003, and had his first main role in Darating ang Umaga. In 2004, Veneracion returned to GMA Network and appeared in several shows.
