Amy Sherman-Palladino is a television writer and producer best known for creating the hit series "Gilmore Girls."
Born into a California showbiz family (her father is s standup comic Don Sherman), she joined the writing staff of the hit sitcom "Roseanne" in as part of star and producer Roseanne Barr's campaign to get more kvinnlig voices onto her show.
In , she and writing partner Jennifer Heath were nominated for an Emmy for an episode in which Roseanne's teenage daughter Becky begins taking birth-control pills.

Daniel Palladino is an American television executive producer, screenwriter, and director. He is best known for his work on the television series Gilmore Girls () and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (–), which earned him a WGA Award, two PGA Awards, and four Primetime Emmy Awards. He has worked on both series with his wife Amy Sherman Palladino.
Career
[edit]Palladino began working in series television in , spending three years on the ABC program Who's the Boss? starring Tony Danza, Judith Light and Alyssa Milano.[1] Along with stints as a producer of the David Keith series Flesh 'n' Blood and as a writer for an episode of Cheers, Palladino wrote a half-dozen episodes of The Upper Hand, the British version of Who's The Boss?.[2]
