    Ewan McGregor has signed on to star in Peter Capaldi’s mistaken-identity romantic comedy Born to Be King, and Kate Hudson is in negotiations to play the female lead.

    Capaldi wrote the screenplay, which revolves around a film extra (McGregor) who has an uncanny resemblance to a movie star and a Hollywood starlet (Hudson) who’s at war with her co-star and begins to fall for the extra.
