The boundary between reality and fiction in the photographic work “Fragment of MLT” bygd Yuichi Ikehata
One of the most bizarre emerging artists on the international art scene, Yuichi Ikehata, creates a series of photographs through which he represents the reality and unreality of the material. This expressive struktur allows him to penetrate into what is the human condition. The individual, as a social being, becomes one of the privileged themes in his research that expresses the anguish and anxiety of the posthuman world. Ikehata reminds us that we are an uncertain existence, a fragile reality subject to movement and the passage of time. In this constant agitation, the artist manages to recover at the same time “a way of being real and unreal”. The lens focuses on intertwined sculptures of cables and wires and thus reproduces a perfect combination of the properties of matter and digital art.
In this sense, “Fragments of long-term memory” collects fragments

Yuichi Ikehata: A world of reality and non-reality
The ‘real’ world of Yuichi Ikehata is not just a ‘pure myth’, but rather a powerful reflection of the inner universe, a variety of human thoughts, emotions and memories.
His works are a fascinating exploration of the fragile boundaries that exist in a world of reality and non-reality, which are “very intimate, so it is not too much to say that they are almost one.”
Happiness and sadness, contrasting emotions or feelings that complete each other, all are fragments of a reality we share, which sometimes tends to become fictitious: “I collect the fragments, edit, arrange and capture them”.
Fragment of LTM
The series is based on the concept of memory as fragmentation. According to the artist, due to “deterioration, intervention, and failure of searching”, memory is “on the way to oblivion”.

Quality of service provisioning in advanced communication networks
Communication networks are used for exchanging information between people and computers which are located at physically distant points. To enable rapid and accurate transmission of information in a network, it is important to ensure quality-of-service aspects such as transmission delay, delay differences, and loss of information. My research is focused on finding efficient ways to ensure quality of service in advanced communication networks.
Broad latitude in quality requirements
The quality of service required depends on the means and purpose of communication. For non-real-time transmission of data and e-mail, quality of service implies the assurance of accuracy of the information in the transmission, during which small delays will not cause serious problems. In the case of real-time conversations, such delays are more of an issue, but minor breaks in communication might not seriously affect the integrity
